Winter Solstice 2025
22nd June 2025
from 11:00am at the Perth Centre, WA
The rite of the Solstice is very ancient. It has been celebrated by different civilisations and cultures, without interruption for the last 6,000 years.
In antiquity the Solstice was the Festival of the Sun. From a magical point of view, it represents renewal, change, transformation, alchemical passage.
The ritual moment of the Solstice allows us to keep the world ‘alive’; it is also a festival of alliance with the Nature Spirits.
The Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year, is the moment when the night stops its conquest, and the victorious Sun begins to recuperate a few minutes every day, until the triumph during the Summer Solstice. It is thus the rising of the solar half of the year, the moment linked in every religion to the birth of the divinity; it is the gradual conquest of the inner light.
Here at the Perth Centre in the hills we will gather to ritually celebrate and welcome in the new light on the 22nd June 2026
