Summer Solstice 2026
The rite of the Solstice is very ancient. It has been celebrated by different civilisations and cultures, without interruption for the last 6,000 years.
In antiquity the Solstice was the Festival of the Sun. From a magical point of view, it represents renewal, change, transformation, alchemical passage.
The ritual moment of the Solstice allows us to keep the world ‘alive’; it is also a festival of alliance with the Nature Spirits.
On the occasion of the Summer Solstice ritual, the pact with the Nature Spirits is renewed, the offering of our friendship and the promise to respect appropriately the environment in which we live.
Here at the Perth Centre in the hills we will gather to ritually celebrate on the 20th December 2026.
To our Friends of Damanhur, if you are interested to join us to add your presence to this celebration please contact us for more information and to RSVP your attendance.
To Bring: If you would like to join us for a shared lunch, please bring along an offering to add to the lunch menu (vegetarian preferred).
Comfortable shoes and a warm layer to add in case it is cold as we will be outside (an umbrella if it looks like rain)
